Cookie Policy

This website is built to work without cookies. We do not set any cookies in your browser. This page explains what little information the site stores on your device, how our analytics work, and what happens to data you submit through our forms.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small files that websites can store in your browser to remember information between visits. Many websites use them for logins, tracking and advertising.

The OHMS website currently sets no cookies at all — first-party or third-party.

Preferences stored on your device

To remember your display preferences, the site uses your browser's local storage (not cookies) for:

  • Theme — whether you chose light or dark mode.
  • Language — whether you chose English or Portuguese.

This information never leaves your device and is not sent to us or to anyone else. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this website.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand how the site is used (for example, which pages are visited). It is a cookieless, privacy-friendly service: it does not store cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not build a personal profile of you. We only see aggregated statistics.

Forms

When you submit the contact form or sign up to our newsletter, the details you enter are sent to us by email so we can respond. They are not stored in cookies and are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Third-party content

Images and videos on this site are served from our own hosting and from our content platform's CDN (Sanity). No advertising or tracking cookies are involved.

If this ever changes

If we introduce features that require cookies in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent before setting them.
